@soul you are channelling me again! you have no idea how manytimes I have said "I never would have thought my life would turn out like this" nobody I knew back then has any idea how it did, they still can't quite believe it either. and yes.. if only we could turn back time... I see it all so clearly now.. but I had to live it to learn it, unfortunately.

@Socks There are a few ways that you can access CBT support.
1)Clinical face to face support: you can find your local psychology clinic
2) You can also access online CBT support via https://thiswayup.org.au/
3) There are also group courses that you can attend. In Sydney, University of Sydney provides a 8 weeks course called Change Your Thinking. You can check it out here: https://cce.sydney.edu.au/course/CYTH
