@frog and @Daisydreamer loss and grief totally such a huge part of this year. @frog I felt like I had to create my own routines and predictability which took so much effort!

Definitely @TideisTurning . I posted earlier about my view on the restrictions but I should mention that I was stuck at my sisters house from August 2 when lockdown 2 came on so for 17 weeks, I didn't live in my place I was renting. I was literally paying for storage! Add to this with the restrictions, I had several psychotic episodes because of the restrictions and the curfew thing. That was really scary for me yet I refused to get medical help for fear of the expensive fines in place.

Agree @Former-Member I also tried to create my own routines. We had a restructure at work, and then the building got damaged in a storm, so there was a lot of coming and going from the building, and still a lot of uncertainty re jobs.
I also have family interstate and overseas, and that made me anxious and sad.

@Judi9877, that's really rough! It just goes to show your resilience and strength being able to make it through all of that with everything going on. I hope things are a little better and starting to look up now?

There have been so many challenges this year and I am reminded of just how important that saying "together but apart" has been, which I think is one thing this community does so well 💙
@Former-Member you mentioned that through the challenges and hardest times of this year, you learned new ways of coping. This is something we’ve heard from some members in the Sane forums too, that there are new things they learnt about themselves and their lives during COVID-19.
What are the most important lessons you learnt this year?

Wow @frog that is so much change to process. I'm so sorry to hear border closures would have meant so much separation and worry for you too 🌻

No need to apologise @BlueBay. It's perfectly ok to be angry and frustrated in this situation. I feel like anyone would be!
