You and me @Former-Member did the best we could. I understand how you are feeling as it's impossible to respond to all as much as we would like to. I came in at the end too and @Zoe7 seemed in a really good place the night before - Then whamo - it was such a turnaround. The worst part for me is "the not knowing" how she is. That can be so hard to put out of my head presently.

Re: Topic Tuesday // Burnout // 24 Jan. 7pm AEDT
There are a lot of tragic events in the world today. How do we cope? How do we feel when we see tragic circumstances that could have been avoided? How do we make sence of it all? Answer: we do the best we know how. We show compassion and we dont judge (I am speaking for myself and not judging) A close friend is stuntman in Brisbane and we waited with baited breath to find out it was not him that was killed. I am so sad for the family that is grieving. We cope the best we can.

I think what I meant to say @Former-Member is pretty much what @Kurra said. You, Utopia and other members have been a wonderful support. And it would be great if you gave yourself credit for that.
I've long stopped considering myself the barrier between someone and self-harm. I can be a support, can provide advice and compassion but I don't control peoples choices. Not matter how much effort I put in. That's the place I'd love you to get to.
You are all so warm and wise. The forum is truly a safe and supportive place. But there is so much more to peoples lives and choices. Our influence is so comparatively small.

I'm not angry if someone chooses to die. I'm angry that maybe no one was with her at the end. I'm angry that nothing apoears to be done. I'm angry that I keep being told that I may never know. But to not know if one of ourffriends - one of the family here has died - that's cruel.

I think that for many of us proof of life or the alternative seems really important at this point in time. I've started my own pathetic investigation into looking for that.

Dear @Former-Member You sound like you can recognise the triggers and take steps to resolve those down feelings. Forgert about the pills and find what it is that you are looking for. Distractions are great but in order to move on you must get in touch with who you really are as a person. Have you thought about painting? Put your feelings onto a canvas maybe. Remind yourself that you have all the qualities of a great human being, a happy one at that. You can do this.

Yes @Former-Member, I second that - it is important for us to know. No attempt at finding this out is pathetic - it's worth a try. For @Zoe7 and for us involved. Please let us know how you go. Thank you.
