Re: Join us for Wellbeing Week // New forum event starting 9am Monday 25th 9am AEST finishing Friday 29th 9pm AEST

I bought 2 new Barbary Doves (this Picture) yesterday.

Because my 2 (original) Barbary Doves are 10 years old - & may not be around for much longer.

Spending time with my Birds - is like Spending Time in Nature.

Well, my Birds are Part of Nature (really).

I'm trying to do more of that.

This was an awesome thread to read through this morning! I loved reading about everyone's day and seeing the photos that were shared. Well done everyone 🎇 And super awesome idea @Former-Member! I've saved a screenshot of the bingo card and plan on ticking off as many squares as possible throughout the week 🙂

Yesterday was my first day at a new job so a few of these really helped. Yesterday I:

* had a shower (then styled my hair - something I haven't been doing much of since stay home restrictions)

* organised a corner of my life - my desk. I made sure everything I had was neat and set up ready to go so I started off well

* took it one hour at a time - I felt overwhelmed and anxious leading up to yesterday, and taking it one hour at a time made it feel a lot less intimidating and a lot more manageable

* ate my favourite food - I don't really have a favourite food but something I love and don't do often is falafel kebab from a very cool local kebab place. I treated myself to one last night. It looked as fresh and delicious as this (mine was never going to last long enough in my hands to take a photo 😉😆

Looking forward to seeing what today brings for everyone 😊

Hi there @Peri  ... good to see you here overnight.  Love the photo of little Phoebe.  And yeah I agree, its not advisable to post a pic of ourselves having a shower.  😊🤣👍

Dont forget that this thread is open all week, so you can come back again and tick another bingo box any day this week.

I was off to a slow start yesterday with only one box ticked off but hoping to do more for myself by the end of today.  A good start with a photo of my little Poppy under her blanket as usual on these chilly mornings.
