2025 - study group

Re: 2025 - study group

@Oaktree omg NICE, smash it!! 😎

Re: 2025 - study group

Oh congratulations @Blackcloud well done - sounds great. I would be interested to know what you will be doing in the role.

(Sorry I'm a bit late to see your good news)

Re: 2025 - study group

I did my last role play for my first 4 units today. Now I have everything done for the term as far as assessments go. We are just going to be starting new units. I got satisfactory and some great comments on my observation checklist today and even a smiley face. So relieved. I get the next two Fridays off and I may not need to go in next Thursday depending. My lecturer has been called for jury duty so he’s not sure if he will be back yet. He’s going to email us

Re: 2025 - study group

That's really excellent @Oaktree

You must be so happy to have the first term over with

What are "nee units" or is that new units?

How many units do people normally do in a term and how long does it take to complete

This is the Cert 4 in Peer Support is that correct?

Re: 2025 - study group

Congrats @Oaktree that’s amazing!!

Re: 2025 - study group

Thanks @Till23

It was new units. Most units go for about 9 weeks or so but WHS didn’t go that long. And we do 4 units at once. Yep cert 4 mental health peer work

Re: 2025 - study group

Congratulations @Oaktree 😍

Re: 2025 - study group

Amazing work @Oaktree so so proud of you for conquering this term 💙 got much planned for the next 2 Fridays you've got off?

Re: 2025 - study group

@rav3n

Today I talked to an advocate, checked the lotto and went to see my psychologist. Very hot here today. Just going to sit and enjoy aircon this arvo. No idea for next Friday.

Re: 2025 - Study Group!

Hey everyone, good on you @Oaktree it sounds like you're doing really well in the course 🎉

I'm loving it, it feels really special to be part of such a safe space where we all (including teachers) have our own lived/living experience of mental health challenges — much like here on the Forum!

I'm also sorry that I've been absent for a couple of months now, I've had a bit going on, but I am very happy to be back with all you lovely people. I hope that you've all been well 🧡
