Re: 2025 - Study Group!
That was just one I looked up. I've never used that one before. I don't remember the ones I used to use. I just remember that they are super helpful @Oaktree
What's frustrating is that dots, commas, spaces... and if you don't have them, then it's wrong.

Re: 2025 - Study Group!
Hi @Oaktree yes definitely the course has made me realise how peer work or support as a movement is about learning to do. I took steps before I started to get privacy reviews and independent reviews because the information held about me is false. I am hoping that with completed studies and the right private psychiatrist I can avoid further pain of being treated in the public health system. A year of no community mental health contact will be celebrated with a lunch together alongside my psychosocial recovery coach!

Re: 2025 - Study Group!
I struggled at Tafe a bit today. I was tired as I didn’t sleep well last night and I am feeling a bit flat. Probably because I forgot some tablets one night last week. My brain just wasn’t in it. We discussed self advocacy this morning and I mentioned that I wasn’t happy with an outcome of a complaint against my ex psychologist. I was thinking I had left it too long to let them know that I wasn’t happy with their decision. I ended up emailing them again today to let them know that I intended to get an advocate involved. They emailed me back letting me know of a service I could use that was independent but I intend to use COMHWA

Re: 2025 - Study Group!
Are you able to have a bit of a rest @Oaktree ? Will that help? It sounds like you know what you are doing in terms of seeking support for this complaint. I guess you do what feels right in your gut?
I hope you feel better soon.

Re: 2025 - Study Group!
Hi
I feel the same way some days with my course too. Particularly one teacher makes me feel meh after I log off. I had a result from an internal review into the local health district's mental health team. They breached my privacy in two investigations. It is good to get a result but I also have a Resolution Officer for the HCCC investigation. I will be glad when the findings are released as it is hard to let go of the past until that happens. Thankfully I don't have to have anything to do with that "service" anymore.
