A little feedback ... I thought there should have been an "often" option ... when asking about frequency of various feelings ... not just never, rarely, sometimes, always. It would have been better graduated and would have been fair and true from my point of view.

Done the survey, @Jupiter . 🙂
Not sure I understand the purpose of this thread, though, beyond raising awareness of the survey, of course. Do you want us to have a discussion about psychosocial wellbeing in here?
There's only so much information one can glean from "tick a box" surveys, so I'm just wondering whether SANE is hoping to get more detailed input to help shape their reports, advice, ect.?

Hi @chibam
Thanks for doing the survey, appreciate it!
The main purpose of this thread is to raise awareness of the survey. There is no expectation to continue the discussion here in this thread. However, if there is anything extra you would like to share on the topic that you feel the survey misses, I am really keen to hear about so that I can pass it on for use in advocacy conversations.

@Jupiter well, there's a few things.
There weren't many questions about services that we might need, but which don't seem to currantly exist yet. Plenty of questions in which we can indicate that our needs are grossly unsatisfied, but very little opportunity for us to clarify what we need.
For example, there were several questions in that survey that aloud me to communicate how desparately lonely I am. All well and good. But what's the next step from there? There wasn't any real space on that survey for me to clarify what sort of remedy I need, so I can only assume that it will be left to the "experts" who process that survey to formulate their own conclusions about what sort of remedy I need for my self-stated loneliness. Personally, I'm not a big fan of letting "experts" dictate what I do and don't need. They get it wrong far more then they get it right.
Likewise, it's not entirely clear what they will do with the write-in problems that people might list on the section about what problems we are dealing with. In many ways, I guess it seems like a no-brainer. If a person lists "unemployment" or "bullying" as one of their major problems, it seems like a no-brainer that SANE would draw from that input that the mental health system needs to create services to give people jobs and get rid of their bullies. But once again, I've seen "experts" totally miss the no-brainer conclusions from their data far too many times in my life. I suspect I'm probably just too cynical, but nonetheless, I have these concerns.
Also, I have concerns about the "in the last 12 months" timeframe that the survey established, as some people may have ongoing concerns that haven't troubled them in the last 12 months, but are nonetheless ongoing concerns that they'd like to see addressed.
For example, I have not been troubled with beaurocratic grief in the last 12 months, but I have been in the past, and it is an ongoing concern for me. Since this is an ordeal that can really befall a person at any time without warning, my view is that we really need a system to remedy these sorts of grievances for us. But, due to the survey's "in the last 12 months" limitation, there was nowhere for me to really voice this concern.
That's probably a bit more opinion then you were expecting to get from me, so I'll leave it there for now. 😉
But yeah... "psychosocial wellbeing"... there's an awful lot that needs to be addressed there.
