Wow @avant-garde... just... wow. Thank you for sharing some more of your story with us hun. With this recent bizz with the popo I am not surprised all these thoughts and memories are surfacing, so I'm really glad to see you putting em out into the world instead of keeping em bottled up.
Geez talk about basically every single primary caregiver failing you... I hope you have been able to find some more inspiring role models over the years who better resonate with your values.
How has your day been hun?

Aye you'd be chock full of residual adrenaline and stuff @avant-garde but I'm glad you're home safe!!
Excess energy needs burning or you going into rest and regulate mode?

@Jynx rest and regulate
My car boot is getting fixed tomorrow so every hour I will go outside and get something from my backseat to bring inside.
It hasn't opened for 9+ months and I got the part in the post.
He's also going to tell replace my brake light globe and check the rear window washer

Ach @avant-garde right back to adulty business as usual, eh? Another moment where the ability to take mental health days would be ideal hey! But then, sometimes that is really helpful, gives us that sense of normality to help reminds us we're safe.
I like that, just bringing in one thing per hour. Breaking it down and taking it slow! Something I struggle with a lot 😅

The guy this morning made multiple people run away, like a crocodile in a duck pond.
It hurts you know, it really hurts, everything my dad did...
There's so much Jynx... there's just so much...

Aye @avant-garde I'm hearing you hun. And it's all been brought back to the surface too, and you just gotta keep pushing on through it all.
It is deeply unfair and if I had the power to change any of it for you, I would in a heartbeat.
