Re: not coping

Still thinking of you hon @outlander 💗

Re: not coping

hi everyone

i didnt realise id been away so long! ive missed you all and have been thinking about you.

i think im finally starting to catch up on all the appointments ive needed to. still have a few but the majority seems to be done thankfully.
ive also finished my tafe course, i completed the final 2 assignments and have recieved the pass mark so the certificate is being finalised now.
ive been doing some voluteering handing out food parcels each saturday to those in my local area as well which has been a nice change. ive met so many people and heard many stories. i helped at a community kitchen the other day too. not really my forte but i gave it ago anyway. i dont think ill be back though the environment doesnt feel right to me.

ive had some meetings with ndis and an LAC and its pointing in the the direction of being approved but i dont have anything final yet. ive submitted the extra documents and gone through all of everything they needed to know. one meeting took nearly 2 hours!

my next treatment is also booked for 4 months time so am needing to organise some things for that too but not in a hurry just somewhere to stay post treatment before everything books out!

its good to actually feel some movement now tafe can be checked off, most appts can be checked off. respite organised for pop while im away can be checked off ndis said that i should have an answer within the next 2-3 weeks about their decision but i hope to hear from sooner.

anyways sorry ive not kept up with everyone, ive barely been able to keep up with myself lately.

Re: not coping

OH @outlander was just thinking of you this morning. Thinking I haven't checked in with my sis since I got discharged.

I'm so happy to hear that things are moving in the right direction for you hon. You deserve somethings to go right after all you have gone through.

I admire you so much hon for reaching out and helping others in need, especially since you have so much happening for you personally.

Congratulations on your Tafe course. You should be super proud of yourself.

I hope you hear from the NDIS soon and it all goes according to plan.

No need to be sorry, you have had to deal with so much yourself and that is the most important thing. In saying that, it will be so good to have you around and able to talk to you more.

Re: not coping

Morning @outlander

Nice to read your update from Tuesday. Sorry I missed it until now. In fact,  I only tracked this down after reading your Worry Room post from last night. 😔

You sounded quite positive here on Tuesday morning. TAFE (congrats on completing passing) volunteering (well done on serving others) making progress with NDIS applic and getting through a nountain of medical appointments.

And so I am wondering what may have happened between then and last night when you posted on the WR thread?

Have you received some bad news?  Is there anything you care to talk about?

Really hope you are okay. 💕

Emelia
