Re: not coping

Oh gosh @outlander so much tugging at you from all sides! Ugh, I had a similar thing with a house inspection recently - put soooo much effort into it, ran myself ragged, and they didn't even call to let me know! Just never showed up. Cue intense frustration and wearing my grumpy pants for the rest of the day.

It absolutely does add up, so I hope you're able to give yourself some grace - it's okay to feel super intense emotions when everything is piled on top of you like this!

Re: not coping

so annoying @Jynx i dont mind cleaning the house but the waiting around all day for them is annoying.

i am so anxious and feel sick but am tired. im not ready for bed yet though its like that other sort of tired where not sleep tired but sould tired

Re: not coping

Yep the waiting is killer @outlander I hate it. Can't commit to anything, can't get lost in something, have to just hang around, watching the clock. Yuck.

I know what you mean. I am not sure if I've shared this with you before? The Seven Types of Rest - really helped me understand better about what I am feeling and what I can do to address it when it's not necessarily just physical exhaustion. Maybe something that occupies juuuust enough of your mind? I like stuff like colouring in whilst watching a comfort show (so I don't need to look at the screen the whole time), or playing a lil game on my phone. Just to carry you through until bedtime.

Re: not coping

im honestly to tired to really be doing anything @Jynx like im in a state where i could probably got to bed for a few days. ill probably be heading to bed very shortly or at least laying in bed.

Re: not coping

Aww I hope you drift off soon @outlander and get a decent sleep tonight. Feel free to let us know how your surgery goes, we'll be waiting in the wings for you 💜

Re: not coping

@outlanderjust coming past to hope that your procedure goes ok today hon. Will be thinking of you 💜💜

Re: not coping

thank you @Snowie @Jynx
ive had the procedure, it went for a fair bit longer then expected as run into a couple of complications while in the drs surgery and the removal of the mass was much bigger then expected so doubled the time and amount of anaesthetic and sutures as well but at least its done now and working from home for a couple of days. i was suppose to work tonight with the old company but ive called in sick with them as when the adrenaline etc comes down and i start to settle more etc im probably not going to want to be around clients that are requiring some more personal care and abit risky for myself as well

Re: not coping

@outlander oh I am glad to hear it went well, even if there was some unexpected complications! How long is the healing time?

Really glad you decided to take time off! I couldn't imagine having surgery then working, though I guess the way money rules our lives these days I can understand it.

Do you have much planned for your down time? Lots of very low key chillin I hope!
