Re: (not actually) Coping with things.
I feel like hurting myself. I feel really stressed out. It's hard pushing through these thoughts. I haven't harmed for nearly 2 weeks, doesn't feel like much of an achievement though. Why does everything have to be this hard.
I went out today, like I do most saturdays it's just hard being social when there's just so much going on there. It hurts my head. Then I feel like it was all a failure and everything I did was a mistake. I can't even go out and have fun without this shit in my head. I hate it.

Re: (not actually) Coping with things.
I can hear the pain coming through your post. But not every thought is worthy of pushing back. Maybe its just ok to (sometimes) sit in the flow of the emotional tide rather than needing to have answers as to why. Its a very personal journey for you but you have support here. A virtual space is the second best thing! Let us know how safe you feel. Whenever that suits.

Wow, @The-red-centaur , 2 weeks with no self harm, I'm really impressed, well done! 🙂
Well done also for going out to try to have fun despite the thoughts in your head, that is a victory too. 🙂👍

Re: (not actually) Coping with things.
Today is hard tho. My thoughts are worse than they were last night. Idk if I won't hurt myself tbh. But I've got lunch with a friend in an hour n half. Maybe that will lift my spirits.

Hey, @The-red-centaur I'm glad you got some sleep last night. Great to hear you are going out to lunch with a friend and why don't you check in with me or another moderator later today and let us know how it goes? We'd love to hear how you are doing later! Take care RiverSeal
