@dehaha i just want to be able to sleep but even the medication the doctor has given me isn't helping and it's supposed to work within 30 minutes of taking it. I don't want to end up back in hospital cos it's all well and good while I'm there but things just go straight back to bad once I'm home again.

I am sure you have tried the white noise ( rain, ocean, rainforest sounds etc).
Have you tried guided sleep? I sometimes listen to " The Honest Guys ". There are lots of options from deep meditation to mindfulness. It's like gentle story telling with reminders to breathe. The stories are detailed enough that you can picture the room but without having to really think.
If you've never tried anything like that, it might be worth a go.

@Ru-bee I'm really not ok, not at all. I'm probably not going to be around much at the moment as I'm struggling to just stay awake/alert. But it's nice coming here and seeing messages of concern and people caring so please keep that up. Hoping it helps me get through this.
