Glad you got through somehow @petrichor ... ice cream can be a goto for me ...
Hearing you about getting the balance between isolation and too much social ...
Does our @Faith-and-Hope love art .... Thats funny ... in a beautiful way ...
Settling somewhere that you could get back to painting ... could be good. ..I like.colour and fabric, but not much sewing lately....
Good to hear from you ... and see you making contacts.

Yes, I love art @petrichor …. it’s what I am studying, but I also craft, sew, bead ….. lotsa things. I hear you about a low creative ebb at the moment. When things are emotionally overwhelming it tends to cloud our visual processing - ie creative thoughts and energy. That’s a time to rest. The flow returns when we find privacy / balance / sanctuary …..

Hi @Faith-and-Hope @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @MDT @Peregrinefalcon @Former-Member
I hope you’re all well.
any tips on how to break the spinning cycle? I’ve got strategies written down but I just sit there being angry that I’m back in this mess and I’m scared to and feel stupid for feeling like this again. What’s the point in using all these strategies when I dump down that hole again anyway when life happens? Anyway that’s my rant for the day.

I know it’s gotten better before in the past but I’m just really tired of getting here again and again. I’m safe at the moment but I’m struggling a bit to see. I know baby steps. I’ve just got some huge steps to do before the baby steps make sense again. it’ll be ok, right?

Hey @petrichor
What have you been up to today?
Found any good trees or beaches or creeks ...?
I have to go off to my water my garden ... which in my mind is a memorial for some who have passed.
Take Care

what do you have in your garden?
I’ve pretty much been numbing myself with booze. Makes it more bearable at the moment. I know it’s not ideal.

@petrichor It was at my guerilla garden at a local round about. Just very robust plants. Dutch iris, Wild lilies, red hot poker, geranium, aggies, day lilies, lamb's ear, pig's ear, succulents ... its about getting them established and survive the summer ... then I tell they have to be tough cos its Australia after all ... I started it at the beginning of Covid.
There are gums, casuarina and some peppercorns ... guess I am doing the council's job, but it has given me focus, and exercise .... and sunshine ...
we gotta do what we gotta do to get thru.
