Re: Riding a wave
I have missed you for a few days.
My Mum broke her hip and I have been running around trying to help her.
I’m sorry to read that you feel things have come to an impasse.
I just want to say that whatever you decide to do do, what you have decided you need to do, I really really hope that it doesn’t compromise your ability to be here in ForumLand.
I for one and many others would miss your extra specialness terribly.
Have you thought of what your next crochet project will be?
Regards 🌿

Re: Riding a wave
I'm so sorry to hear of your big sadness today, @Phoenix_Rising. I'm sorry you weren't able to find a good resolution to the big wrong. 😞
I tried to make you a video with a new story but the youtube had some identifable content so I couldn't share it. Maybe soon in the future I can. In the meantime I found a book called One Tiny Turtle for you.

Re: Riding a wave
Good evening on the ocean,
I am sooooo sleepy after Topic Tuesday. I am about to fall into bed.
@Catcakes @OhanaSystem thank you for dropping by the ocean.
@Catcakes I'm not sure what my next crochet project will be...though I'm sure it will be a toy of some sort! I am super loving this new adventure.
@OhanaSystem that is so super nice that you tried to make me a story. No, we don't share videos that we make ourselves here in Forum Land. The youtube videos of stories (and other things) that we share are always just some random stranger out there in youtube land. I will listen to the story of one tiny turtle tonight. Super big thank you for finding it for me.
@CheerBear I have missed you today even though I am right there with you. I see and hear and know and feel, and I know you do likewise. You've got this, I've got this, we've got this - together but not.
@Jupiter are you watching over the ocean tonight? If so, thank you. Good evening also to @SleepyPanda if per chance you happen to be on the ocean later tonight.
Good night Forum Land.

Re: Riding a wave
I am watching over the ocean for a little bit longer tonight. Of course, I am watching from the sky because I am a planet, but I can see you out there haha

Re: Riding a wave
@Phoenix_Rising your message the other night made a difference to a not-ok feeling me, feeling very alone at the time. Thank you so much for being you. Even though we're together but not, I still really miss you.
I love your turtle and have saved a pic of him and Mr Narwhal (I hope that's ok) because they make me smile a lot. I am so impressed with the rate you're learning and picking it up and am really excited for you when I think about what you will be able to create with your new skills. I have been playing with making a pastel rainbow hedgehog who is bringing me a smile already.
Wondering what you're up to today and hoping the day has something that feels good in it. I am thinking of you.

Re: Riding a wave
I love your Nahwal (image posted on the Craft thread)..... although I agree it could pass as a blue platypus if you wanted it to.

Re: Riding a wave
A quiet little 'hi' from a super broken bookish. That is all. 🌷🐢
(Or maybe not all ... I must agree—your crocheting is super impressive, @Phoenix_Rising. You are awesome.)

Re: Riding a wave
Good morning on the ocean,
Well here we are again on what would be phoning day but isn't - sigh....
Thank you to everyone who has dropped by the ocean over yesterday and this morning. I am super sad to see that Mohill seems to have become a "former member."
Super big thank you for all your compliments regarding my crocheting. I am SUPER enjoying this new adventure.
I am feeling much calmer these days. I don't feel lonely anymore. I feel like I've moved through (and survived!!!) the existential crisis of knowing that I truly am alone (aside from having TTT) and I truly don't matter. I've made peace with this reality now. I know I have done my very very best to work through the wrongness of the wrong. I am at peace now knowing that I will do what I feel I need to do to deal with the situation as it is, rather than trying to make it into the situation I would like it to be.
Last Monday I showed TTT the draft of my final attempt to work through the muddle. She said it was really good, and made a suggestion about how I could improve it a little bit. After I got the unhelpful reply, I emailed TTT and dumped out all my hurt to her, ending with we will get through this together won't we. This was her response to me: Your additions to the email were perfect. You did so well. I'm sorry it didn't work out. Of course we will get through it together.
I feel warm and fuzzy and safe every time I re-read that. I know I did my very best. I know my communication wasn't wonky. And I know that as much as she can in her role as my psychologist (as opposed to a friend or family member), TTT will support me through the grief and agony of this situation.
@Former-Member I am so sad that you are such a super broken bookish. I so very VERY badly wish I could send you a clone of TTT.
@Faith-and-Hope I love that you agree with @Bunniekins that Mr Narwhal could pass as a blue platypus. I mentioned on the craft thread that Mr Narwhal suffers from a very rare genetic condition. The condition he suffers from is called likeaplatypusosis.
