What do you do if you think someone is disrupting your life behind the scenes? And you just can't get rid of them.

Hi @Nw
Are you referring to false beliefs/delusional thinking? Your GP would usually be the first point of call

Hi @Nw ,
For me, it would really depend on how or what they were doing, and what realm of life do i know them from (eg family, vs friend, vs work, vs community organisation).
Do you feel comfortable sharing a little more about the context?
I am trying to remember if you were also the one who posted about gangstalking? If so, I will assume this is related
@DogMan79 's suggestion of chatting to your GP is a great idea too. They can hopefully help support you (or refer you for support) during this challenging time also.

Sometimes a fresh start really can be a new beginning, @Nw . Thats a very brave decision to make!
Do you have a plan for where to go and where to find supports to help yu settle in and build connections in the new location?

I always think, as a person not seeing what is happening, it is so hard to know with some things like gang stalking. Because it definitely does exist in some cases, but i am also aware that there can be mental illness that can produce thoughts/perceptions that are very similar (eg paranoia; although i also hear a lot of time these can include "big conspiracy" of government also, etc - not just people you interact with daily). But i am always hesitent to voice this, because i fear someone will misunderstand my intent and think i am automatically not believing them -- which is not the case! Its just knowing that BOTH exist in the world. When i can't know for myself, i like to lean towards believing the person and regardless always looking at how it affects them and how to support them; never with personal judgements.
But either way, regardless of the cause, it is still such a distressing thoughts/feelings that people are deliberately harrassing you. 😭. I know there are a number of people on the forums who have had to move homes and "start new" due to violent/threatening/harrassing people in their lives. Whether it is DV, supposed-friends, other family, or members of the public --- it is still so harmful and no one (including you!!) ever deserves to be treated that way.
I wonder if there are some support lines that help support with gamg stalking and/or harrassment?
I know there are ones for DV... i wonder maybe if a DV one could give some advice on how to re-establish a new life? Since many with DV have to do this also.
