Hey @Birdofparadise8 I just want to specifically come on here to say I hope you can find something to do today and someone to talk to whether that’s here or somewhere else holiday periods like this are really hard I get it I spent a long time alone on every holiday including Christmas…
thinking of you and others this weekend buddy. I’ll be on and off just spending time with the family and today we have a garden overhaul to do ready for autumn so I think the whole family will be involved in that which will be a bit of fun. Might talk to you later I’m sure what else we will get up to you 🙂

do you go to the football with somebody or just you? I’m glad you are going and getting that connection with people, you know I count that as socialising? even going somewhere alone but amongst people like an event where you are all there for the same purpose, when I didn’t have anyone and not really mates or stuff like that I counted going to the gym group classes as socialising - your amongst people right? If all you do is say hi to someone you have achieved more than just sitting at home. much rather go out and do something I wanted to do instead of being miserable at home on my own but that’s just me, I guess the flip side is I have also had some pretty bad social stuff and anxiety and found doing that kind of thing near impossible at times so I see it from both sides….

just need to clear the beds from our summer veg we have started the last few weekends but now it’s all a mess

it’s not achievable today given it’s gf and I get that it is costly but on my lonliness days I felt like I had nobody I went to the shopping mall and just bought an iced coffee and sat on a seat…. @Birdofparadise8 it kind of makes me emotional thinking about it but it was my my way of putting myself out into the world and feeling connected to people even though they were all strangers it will still like I had company sometimes I would just watch how other people interacted with each other

Yeah we do we have a few big beds, and a couple of fruit trees. Will try to send some pics when we have transplanted everything, we grow most things from seed and then plant into the garden when they are seedlings 🌱

I'm an AFL member, so I sit in a different area to the Carlton member area, but with the AFL membership, you can support a club, so I still get the membership pack from Carlton. 

That's a good way to do it. 

I grew corn a few years ago before I moved here, and I also have a fig tree, and the first fig has started to show this year. My parents have got six garden beds, but I'm not sure of the size. 

What type of fruit trees do you have? 

Oh, I've also grown pumpkins, tomatoes, and zucchini myself. And rhubarb. @ArraDreaming
