I have had a good day so far, but I'm getting stressed because one of my research articles isn't a qualitative study but a quantitative one, so my teacher told me the wrong thing on Wednesday. I have to do a quality appraisal form, but I now need to find a new article because the other two aren't on the list of study choices for the form, so I'm really annoyed right now. It's due Monday morning. 

Yes, I'm looking forward to it. I just want to get this form done before I go and I'll be happy.

Wow, that is really annoying. I can't believe your teacher made such an error. However I have huge faith that you will get it sorted and will have the right paper submitted on Monday. Is there any way to contact your teacher about the error they made?

Just remember you have the weekend as well if you can't complete it before the ballet tonight. Are you going with someone special, a friend, a boy? I live vicariously through my friends!

I'm trying to find a power cable for my desktop PC so my mum can borrow it. Ex friend helped pack my things and she packed the computer without the power cable...the love keeps on coming from her!

yes you’re spot on - I’m getting the jump on upcoming uni assignments so I can take my time and reflect as I go… I find taking a day or two in between writing large amounts means I can see it more objectively, and make improvements - but this method takes time, so I make an early start on it 🙌🏻🙂

Yeah, it's just clicked. I remember her saying the article didn't need to have Ei in it, so I'm looking for depression, addiction and self-compassion, and it needs to be a qualitative study, RCT or a couple of others. I swear, for every link I click on, they are all systematic reviews or another study I can't use. Ahhhh

That sounds like a good process. better than mine now. I'm so stressed it's due Monday morning and I've made a big flop because the tutor told me the wrong thing ahhhh @Former-Member 

This is why I like to get assignments done early, but you can't when you only just get the wrong information on the last class.

It’s really hard when you get late corrections! 
I wonder if you’re doing a systematic review of topical (specific disease processes) qualitative studies, dearest? 🙂

usually, if I find a systematic review, I read their search criterion to discover if they included qualitative info (sometimes in their methods), and if they did, I then read through their reference list to pick out the qualitative studies, then appraise the quality/level of data, then go from there in assimilating the info… that’s what I do if I’m getting only sys reviews coming up in search 🙂
