@ENKELI, I’m sorry to hear your parents’ divorce affected you deeply. I think sometimes we deny how much painful experiences affect us. I don’t know about you, I was programmed to be positive and shove things under the rug. I felt emotionally neglected by my parents because they never learnt to cope with their own stuff, can’t exactly blame them. I tried to brush off bullying as normal thing kids go through at school. I still to this day sort of downplay the effects. I also tell myself other people don’t want to hear about when I was SA as it makes the uncomfortable and even used to feel like it didn’t even happen to me. I carried a lot of shame and guilt over the years.

I also find faith comforting too. I’m Muslim, but when things feel rough, it’s the only thing keeping me going.

I read the those with mood disorders are more likely to have migraines and vice versa. Migraines have been linked with brain chemistry too. Mood episodes create a lot of stress in the body, getting headaches (even if they are not migraines) isn’t surprising

I am still sick; it's so annoying. 

Sorry, I didn't reply last night. I took my meds earlier as the night before it took three hours to kick in and so then last night it took like 30 minutes.

I'm sick with covid myself. I got it at the eras tour on Saturday. Mentally not great either. 

How did you get sick?
