Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

haha, I've been avoiding the shower all day @Jynx

I'll post it from my phone in a minute.

Yeah, sure, whenever. I won't say no to yummy food.

Here you go @Jynx

It's a basic recipe but it's very yummy every time I make it.

Re: Not Coping

Aww yay thanks @Birdofparadise8! Saved it! Maybe that's my next cooking project after this risotto. You ever made risotto? It's actually really easy, just a bit time-consuming.

Haha that randomly reminded me of this joke - One day I decided to eat a clock! It was very time-consuming.

Oh and another dumb clock joke - What did the broken clock do at dinner?

It went back four seconds.

Re: Not Coping

I have made risotto as well @Jynx

I love to cook.

Do you ever make break?

Why four seconds lol?

Re: Not Coping

As in the clock goes back for seconds, a second helping! Bit easier when said, rather than typed haha @Birdofparadise8

Not sure what 'make break' means, unless you mean meal break?

I'm off for tonight anyhow! Nice chatting, catch ya next time 😊

Re: Not Coping

hahah

Omg I mean make bread lol @Jynx

All good have a good night.

Re: Not Coping

HI @ENKELI

How have you been? It's been a while since we have spoken.

Re: Not Coping

Hi @Birdofparadise8 , how are you doing? I am good, very hot (40 degrees in Perth today...ick!) but coping so far.

Sorry to hear about your problems with KHL and such. How are you feeling now? It sounds like you are going through a bad patch 😴. Have you tried Lifeline? I have only called a helpline once and it was a long time ago, can't remember the outcome.

When do you move into your new accommodation? I wish I could give you a big hug, (hope that's ok) I know how hard it is being alone and unable to cope.
I am going to be looking for work now so I will be on my laptop more frequently. My MH is okay at the moment but the week between Christmas and my birthday (3rd) was rough. I spent Christmas and NYE alone by choice, mostly just feeling worthless and hopeless. It really does suck having mental issues.

I really hope you're feeling even just a little better. Are there any hobbies you really enjoy doing? Sorry if you've already mentioned hobbies, I have been offline far too long.

I hope everyone else is doing okay and the heat isn't getting too bad. We have 40 each day with Wed going to 41 and then dropping into the 30's. Not sure how I'll cope without air conditioning 😳

Re: Not Coping

I'm alright right now. It's been a rough few days, last night in particular. Yeah, I've tried Lifeline, but they only seem interested if you are in crisis.

I will speak with my regular tomorrow at KHL, so hopefully, I'll have an answer to what is happening.

I've moved already. I had my first night on the 5th. The other two I'm sharing with aren't here yet, so I get the place to myself.

Aww, I would love a hug. I don't get hugs often.

That's good to hear. I applied for five jobs on Friday, and I also had an interview. I need to get one soon.

I hope you're okay I saw the post you made and then you left. I just hope you can get the support you need.

I like reading, art, bike riding, gym, listening to music, watching TV, and cooking.

OMG, I don't know how you cope with that heat. Have you always lived in Perth?

Today in Melbourne, it was raining a bit, lol. The high 20s is enough for me. @ENKELI

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 hey there.

I needed to get through Christmas, New Year and birthday as it was the first year without my best friend. We always spent the days together and since she ghosted me last April I knew it was going to be rough trying to not think about her and my God children.

I'm better now though and have been focusing on other things. I like doing diamond paintings so while it's so hot I've been doing a few. Otherwise I'd be going for walks. Even at 7pm tonight it was still too hot to go walking and I'm not keen to go walking alone at night.

I was born in NSW and my dad was in the army so we moved around a lot. My parents split when I was 5 so we moved from Canberra to Geraldton which is a small city about 500km from Perth. My family are all from there. We moved to Perth a few years later and I've been here since with the exception of a few years in Kalgoorlie and Broome for work.

I don't like Perth much really. I'd love to move to the country, maybe when I retire lol!

When do your roomates move in?

Good luck with the interview, I'll keep you in my prayers that you get the perfect job 😊
