Hey @Birdofparadise8 ,
Laptop!!!! I definitely would NOT have been able to guess that.
As for your thoughts, remember they are only thoughts. They will come and go. What do you think you can do while letting these thoughts pass?

Sorry to hear that @Former-Member it sucks doesn't it.
Yeah I guess it's just so annoying how content they are. @tyme
I'm seeing a psychiatrist one Monday through the crisis mental health team here in Hobart so hopefully that will be good and I get something out of it.
Have either of you seen a psychiatrist before? Do you think they are beneficial if you have.

I have but my experience was a little different... So I don't feel that I am a good judge. @Birdofparadise8
I think that you need to connect with someone and that is the key. I have had numerous support with a range of different titles and credentials and I do believe that connection is where the support lays for me. I have a tendency to dissociate myself from the experiences and thus, need to be held accountable. If not, I can fumble my way through sessions without actually any benefit to myself. If I can connect with someone, I am motivated to help myself. This is just my own personal experience and by no means a sure thing! Unfortunately, I think you need to work out what is right for you and how you can benefit from different styles of support.

Ok well I'll just have to wait for Monday and see what this doctor is like. My psychologist said he is really good so that is a positive I guess.
Are you doing much over the weekend? @Former-Member @tyme

Yes, it is always good to go into these things with some optimism @Birdofparadise8. Keep us posted on how it is goes.
I have heaps of uni to catch up on so it will be a quiet one for me! Hopefully some swim time too. How about you??

Yeah will do.
Sounds fun when do you finish uni for the year @Former-Member
I have to sew my tutu so that will take a few hours. On Sunday I have the house to myself so I hope I don't spiral or anything like I do when I'm alone so I might see if I can go see my Nan. She has just gone inpatient yesterday for her depression she is having TMS and she will be better when she comes out so that's good for her.
I wish I could get better like she has because since July she has improved and I have gone down hill.

It is swings and roundabouts @Captain24. The journey is a circle, not a line. Visiting your Nan might be a lovely way to remember that 💝
I am doing summer classes so I have a break for 3 weeks over Christmas only. What does your Tutu look like? That is exciting 😁
