Did you see pdoc this week? I saw mine and now I won’t see her for 2 months as she’s off overseas. This will be huge.

I spoke to podc on Monday. Told him what was happening. He was very insistent and gave me no choice.

That is a long time to not see your pdoc hon. I know they deserve holidays but doesn't make it easy for us. Is there someone else you can contact if needed?

She said I could see someone else in the practice @Snowie  but I’m not sure about seeing someone I don’t know. The other alternative was an admission and I don’t want that as I have my trip on the Ghan at the end of next month.

Sorry pdoc didn’t give you an option but I’m glad you’re home now. Will you have to go back?

Seeing someone new can be very daunting @Eve7 especially if you don't know who to expect.

I understand how much you don't want an admission too.

Have you still got much to orgainse for your trip?

I guess that depends on me, whether I go back. They didn't really understand. Just get in get out as quickly as possible. Like a revolving door. Just replied with the correct answers, what they wanted to hear.

It’s hard when the medical profession don’t understand our mh @Snowie  That is what happened last time I was sent to public and I just told them what they needed to hear.

i feel nice and fresh with my hair, nails and eyebrows done and the car looks sensational. I’m going to a sporting competition tonight so wanted to look good in case my kids do well and want photos.

It is hard @Eve7 I guess they just take you to the closest place. I don't know how to respond now. Do I tell them the truth or just what they want to hear.

It is better if we tell “them” the truth @Snowie but I think that needs to occur in the right environment which is not the local hospital unfortunately.
