Hey @Bow ,
I hear you are hurting a lot right now and the hurt is so real.
In order to guide your posting to be recovery-focused, what does support look like for you at the moment?
I'm mindful this is a very difficult time, and even if it's to have an ear, we're here.

Hey hun @Bow ,
Recovery focused doesn't mean you can't feel hurt. I doesn't mean you don't feel hurt. It doesn't mean we 'disappear' the hurt. But it gives us space to be okay with sitting with the hurt and focus on the now so it gives you space to heal - because you deserve it.
Hugs to you @Bow . You are NOT a problem. You are NOT a bother. You are hurting, and I get that. I'm here for you.

@Bow I mean if you want a realistic answer I reckon it's cos we're socialised to not talk about 'bad things' and taught to like, wait till the other person opens up I guess? It's not fair, and I'm not trying to make it okay that you feel like you have to keep opening up that wound over and over just for someone else's understanding.
Mm 'You'll be past it in a week or so' sounds very much like a platitude! Likely meant to be reassuring but coming across as invalidating instead... like they mean 'Keep your chin up' but it feels like 'omg stop complaining you'll just magically be over it soon' and that doesn't feel very nice hey.
You can throw today in the bin I say!
