Getting the sense no one replies to my messages at work makes me feel undervalued or unappreciated. All politics I guess? Oh well. Not much I can do. I put a quote to help boost people's morale so I hope it worked. There is nothing other than low key boredom and politics. Typical bureacracy I think.
My manager, I don't think, has ever managed people before. Out of their depth maybe.

I'm just feeling undervalued or something.

Anyway. I have a meeting at 10am. Maybe that'll shed light on what needs doing.

I'm of the view that they don't like me asking that question but in the end I can't do much about that can I ?

I find people not replying to emails more common these days. It's just rude I think. Jobsearch place does it, companies talking to about jobs do it, people at tafe as well @MDT

yeah, was a person at tafe I had to book a course through, she was off sick several times, then when got back would complain that she had hundreds of emails .. 

another one spoke with just stop replying . I must have missed the last email that said I will never reply to your emails again lol @MDT 

If I didnt have to deal with them I wouldnt. 

Person at job place said oh its nearly time for you to book in at tafe, I just said well they dont reply to my emails so not sure how that is going to work ..

It's a shame that such a basic concept is lost on people @TAB
Admin roles are based on that but so many don't do it right
Even at old job, one or two employees would nag me for not putting my name at the end of the email that was sent with case details. It wasn't a big deal in the scheme of things. But then again, when they serve people at the counter it was too hard for them.... they didn't have priorities sorted.
Can't please everyone in the end can we?

Well I gotta get on to the superannuation company as my account is logging in.. Want to make sure I still have access to it even when my email lapses. Better to put gmail with it than work email.

yeah , with Tafe anyway think they are trying to make themselves look busy by not replying to emails. The classic was the other day at  job place, I reported to reception who emailed person I was there to see, then I sat there for 20 mins til they eventually came out, saying they hadnt got the email.. hilarious because their office is like 10metres from reception, yet no one can contact them and the said they thought I was late ha ha @MDT

meeting went for 30 mins today. Thank god

Now just sitting here. Not much to do. Manager left nothing. Have asked colleague to show me how to do next task - they said they did a good training session on thurs... when I wasn't there.

Just hate the feeling that I am getting looked over or forgotten

just do what you can @MDT  they should give you stuff to do. Try not to worry about it. How much longer does the job have to go ?
