I like the phrase "memory like a carrot". Never heard that one before lol. @ArraDreaming
I remember you being out of work and not being able to continue your own business during COVID due to your injury... that's about it 🙂 It was a challenging time for you. But I'm so glad you've shone through and have persisted. It was also the time when your older boy hated kinder.

Memory like a carrot don’t know where it came from to be honest
ohh right of course @tyme yeah it was really hard all through Covid to try and keep it all afloat while managing everything else I’m kinda glad it’s over now I was never suited to be self employed (as I now know)
Yeah next step is getting him to school I think he’s finally coming around it

I went to my sister's house today to see what plans we could make for the school holidays @ArraDreaming . Don't know what to do. Was thinking to go to the Royal Melb Show, but I think there will be too many people - and it's only open 4 days.
So We might just do a few day trips... don't really know. We will also have some brunch dates out.
Apart from that, it might just be a quiet school holidays.
Besides the footy, did you do anything today? Or any plans this weekend?
Oh, and I did read 6 Bluey books with my niece today....including a Bluey cookbook. It's pretty cute.

@tyme
So you have school holidays off? that’s cool, do you work/study or do other things outside of the holiday s usually? Not many get school holidays off
we just did some family stuff, it rained most of the day here so hung out at home and then just went to the shops, all that stuff that, nothing exciting. Had a break in the rain in the middle of the day so got a quick walk in. was going to take the boys to the local football grand final but decided not to go.
No plans just boys club tonight because my partner is out for the evening but they go to bed at like 6:30 so I’ll probably just watch a movie or something
tomorrow I want to go up to mums and start doing some stuff around the house but I’m not sure I think I will see how I feel I have only been there once since she died just to check up on some things so I will just see how I go and if I feel like it
