Ohhh thanks @tyme .
My first world problem for the day is that the first world is devolving.
My other first world problem is that the jackals are prepping in silence against the 'norm'.

This week's first world problem is that I broke up a dog fight on Monday and got bit in an awkward spot on my right hand. Due to dog bites being prone to infection, I had to drive 2hrs to get to a specialist on Tuesday and then had to wait 13hrs for surgery in the waiting room. But I am eternally grateful, as I was seen that night and am fine now.
Hope all is well for you guys 🧡

Oh no @defaultusername ! I'm so sorry to hear it was bad enough to need surgery. How are you feeling? I'm guessing it could have been traumatic. Are you okay?

Aw thank you very much for your concern @tyme, but I'm all good! — it's not my first rodeo, haha. It's just a reflex of mine to always get in the middle to try to stop them, but I get harmed in the process. Meanwhile, all 3 dogs were fine, not a scratch on them! 😂
And I should've mentioned it was just a local anaesthetic procedure, not a general! And thank god for nerve blockers! Haha.
I'm very lucky cause it could've been worse, but here I am still being able to type so I'm happy. Thank you though 🧡

I'm not so sure that's a first world problem @defaultusername ! How concerning!
I hope it doesn't happen again and wish you speedy recovery. Rest up. Feel free to reach out if you need anything.
My first world problem was I had a big brekkie out and was too full. I went with my sister and her three kids. It was lovely though.

Thank you for that @tyme, it means a lot 🧡
And I guess the first world problem was that I had to wait so long, but I got seen and am fine now so I just feel silly complaining about the wait at all when so many people go without…
Certainly helps me feel more appreciative, as bad as the public health system can be at times due to funding issues and staff shortages we still have it so much better than many other countries.
Glad you had a good breakfast outing with your family! 😊

My first world problem for the day is I see the first world of tomorrow.
My other problem is that I see it yesterday. When I was young I would marvel and ponder over seeing it. As time passed, what I saw the day before yesterday's impression was the next week's things that are about to unfold beginning the day after tomorrow.
Loopy I know.
After the past ten years, I see the antithesis of the thrill of the view.
My first world problem is I dejavu. Big time.

Ah that's what's wrong @tyme , the internet. I thought it was my old fingered typing.
My first world problem is for next year. Whether to buy a new home, or a new wheelie-walker.
