Re: Creative Thinking and Mental Health

No worries @Former-Member

@Kyle1 's thread title ... is great. Thanks. Long been a deep interst of mine, but warning, my daughter says I know too much about mental health, it would have been better off if I did not ... lol... we can either laugh or cry ... or be stuck for words ... or have too many.

what to do???

@Kyle1 Are you doing alright?

I had session with a counsellor today ... I was wondering if she was the right fit, but this one actually tries, even if she gets it wrong, she keeps trying ... ???

Take Care

Re: Creative Thinking and Mental Health

hi @Appleblossom

Nah, I'm feeling terribly low again. Ii can relate to your experience with your counsellor... sometimes gets it wrong but hey, they're human, too! And they hang in there... one of mine is like that. God bless her atheist heart.

Re: Creative Thinking and Mental Health

Hi @Kyle1

Your wit is so good.

But I am not sure if you realise it

I agree @Appleblossom is great they had a new counsellor and things have to settle as they are humans.

@Kyle1  I love your end to @Appleblossom

 "God bless her atheist heart."

You are a classic! Love it.

Re: Creative Thinking and Mental Health

Hi @Appleblossom

Congratulations on your persistence!

And managing to have time to be on the forum.

Re: Creative Thinking and Mental Health

@Kyle1 I sensed you were low, cos your posts became very brief.  I have appreciated many of your posts on other threads as well, and your responses to other people on the forum.  I hear the christian ethic of caring for others coming through ... which was always my style rather than pushing anything dogmatic.

Guess it is an aspect of self care, to be minimal at times.

Love you Blessing you therapist that way ... lol

I have not been able to take a good, therapist working hard ... for granted ... ever ... and I have paid out a lout of hard earned money, and now also govt money plus budgeting with my pension ...

Gotta go

Re: Creative Thinking and Mental Health

Got an invitation to play 'go' from my son ... an offer not to be refused.   @Kyle1 @Former-Member ...

Loving him ... brain freezes re game ... not played it since plastic boards and stones in the 90s with his dad.  His dad kept setting tests for me ... which hoop to jump ... how high ... where>>> of its no longer a hoop ... his son is far more decent... the game has morphed since then...  many foreign words and phrases and buttons and barking baritone computers...lol

Hang in there ...

Re: Creative Thinking and Mental Health

Hi @Appleblossom

I am filled with joy you are doing something with your son.

And he invited you!

Wow

Not sure of Go. I like Uno.

Not sure what @Kyle1 prefers

Awesome. have fun
