Good morning @NatureLover @Anastasia
Hope you both have a good day today!
I didn't sleep very well last night, so not feeling crash hot this morning. Will venture out of my room soon to see what the morning group topic is and decide if I'm up to it or not.
We didn't get to contact Centrelink y'day, and the social worker is coming again at 11.30 this morning, so attending group night be a good distraction before the inevitable drama with Centrelink.
The TMS doctor will be meeting with me at some stage today too, to discuss the plan. I have had this treatment before in 2018, and it gave me that little boost to help get me out of the hole of depression. Fingers crossed it provides some
relief this time round too.
So good to hear from you both. 🤗💖

Hi @WIP and @Anastasia
@WIP I wasn't online yesterday, but am keen to hear how it went with Centrelink?
Also when your TMS treatment will start?
Thinking of you @WIP and hoping things are looking up, even just a little bit.

Hello lovely @NatureLover @Anastasia @Eve7 @Eve7 Hope you're all travelling along ok - I think of my sane forum friends often.
I'm travelling along alright. Had some challenges during the week as I made a formal request to see a female psychiatrist (a particular one who has a terrific reputation) as the man I see atm has been very dismissive, rude, roadblocking and unhelpful (I could keep going, but will stop there) & causing me great distress. So the wheels are in motion there.
Also, I decided against TMS for now & are changing AD (back to one the I was on for years and helped). An option the augment it with another medication is there also, if thing don't improve in a couple of months. So I've started tapering then current one & will start the new one in a week 🤞
I can always come back in for a go at TMS down the track - so there's options.
I'll be keeping up with regular psychologist sessions & are on the wait list for the intensive 6 month DBT course, or do another day program as an outpatient, maybe ACT focussed.
I'm attending the group sessions here pretty much every day & soaking up as much therapy as I can, even though they can be triggering.
Im a bit flat & anxious today, starting to feel a bit of cabin fever & I miss Levi & Mum.
@NatureLover I'm happy to report I'm back on Centrelink payments!! That was an ordeal in itself, but won't bore you with the drama. But my medical exemption is valid for the next 90 days, then I go through it all again. Hopefully if this female pdoc takes me on, she can help me with a DSP application. My current pdoc is useless with admin & the reason I was cut off in the first place.
Love to you all & I really appreciate your messages. 💙🌻

Hi @WIP
It’s lovely to hear from you with such positive news.
Well done for being assertive enough to request a female pdoc. I really hope this happens soon for you.
Also, good on you for making your own choice with treatment options. I really hope the change in meds has a positive outcome for you.
I’ve slept most of the day with some help from prn and soon I’ll take my night meds and go back to sleep.
Sorry you’re missing Levi and your mum so much but hopefully you’ll soon be in better health and able to return home.
Lots of love
