Re: With coffee .... without coffee. A place for us coffee lovers and coffee!
Hey @BryanaCamp , thanks for your message. I hope you have had a nice safe weekend. Fishing is quite relaxing most of the time. I used to enjoy getting the bait as you use different types depending on what kind of fish you are chasing. You can also use lures which I havent done all that much of. Probably one of my favourites was collecting greenweed to catch blackfish. I tried many times to 'catch' beach worms, but, I never found the nack of it, even though I did see people pulling them out of my local beach. One of my mums friends of a friend does it for a living, hey are about $3-$5 a pop.
It would definitely be fun ordering food in a foreign language, i've never really done that before. I enjoy ordering different foods a lot by itself. I'd really like to go to Europe at some point. When I was younger I always thought I'd save it till I was 'old'. I just need to save up lots of holidays and leave time which will take a long time now. I am pretty much down to zero.
It's a bummer about your roster and the travel. You might find you pick up some extra shifts as people take holidays and leave, and also when they ge to know you more. You could get some random ones when people call in sick? Might be worth asking about that. They probably give priority to people to that have been there a while, eventually you willl fall into that category. Hang in there. I'm glad you don't think I'm being to nosey asking about your work, its a lot more interesting than what I do! I had a bit of a chuckle about getting excitement from kids, they are definitely infectious with there enthusiasm.
I don't think men are taught not to express emotions, there was no class for it at school. It's more of a learnt behaviour and instinct I think. Trying to show we are tough and stuff doesn't effect us. Maybe its changing a bit now, but, thats how it was when I was growing up. I didn't really have a role model, my brother was pretty old school in his thinking and still is. I can't remember if I mentioned i tried to get him to talk to a psychologist, but, he won't.
I listened to an interesting story on the radio on the way to work. A professor was talking about how treescapes and the like can effect our mental health. It was a 6 year study and found that people living within a few km's of tree's had better mental health than those that didn't. I always get frustrated when councils chop down trees for no apparant reason.
I read about your super hike on the other thread. Well done again, you are really inspiring to a lot of us and I hope you can look at it and gain confidence from it yourself. It's a great effort Bryana. The pictures are really great and to, you have a nice spot.
With the cycling at the gym, it tells you pretty much everything, heart rate, distance, caloris, its really information overload LOL 🙂 I like to know distances and time as well. You can change the 'load' which is how hard it is to pedeal, thats the main variable and controls your speed and effort. Some days I find the groove and its fairlly easy, but, other times its a bit harder to get a handle on it.
Thanks for the fitness and weight quote. I'll have to try it and keep it mind. Mine is a bit all over the place at the moment. It's not moving a lot. I hope you got all your cat food made up alright.
Hope you are having a fine cup of coffee and the sun is shining in your neck of the woods. Have a great day and thanks again for your messages and support. Take care.

Sorry for disappearing. My cat died on the 24th and I'm still having fam troubles. I was in a situation at job training and I'm trying to get over it and reason through it and I'm adjusting to a new cat. So that's life.
Cuddling up and watching Poldark with my coffee and the new cat is somewhere.
Meet "Ursula is Karma" everyone 🙂 She's as lovely as Parisian coffee 🙂

She's nearly 2, but she acts with a lot more maturity. She's very gentle and quiet. Really cuddly.
