@Snowie I agree i don't know how a special day reflects the neglect of loved ones any worse except they didn't even try on what is meant to be a special day. I still feel the void, the emptiness, today I have rested and listened to some books about self compassion as I try to find a new life without the people who have walked away. Grief is definitely not defined by a day.
Ive never been a new year resolution person but I've never had a year like this so find myself unsure o don't want to make a deal of anything that will just be more disappointing. I don't know trying take one day at a time and listen to my body as what it wants me to do.
