Re: Through One's Eyes
I hope you like them when you can see them @Zoe7 ....
He continued the abstractions of these forms until they ended up as his currently identifiable black, white and primary work. For him, and for many abstract artists, the process to the most simple, basic forms is a higher form of art. I am sure it is quite addictive, just based on my attempts to copy their style. It can be mesmerising.
I can show you more of the progress work that takes his painting of a tree into the grid formation if you like. It is not my cup of tea, but it is very interesting to view and understand as a process.
Goodnight Hon. I hope you sleep well.
💚🌹

Re: Through One's Eyes
I actually quite like the tree image @Faith-and-Hope I wouldn't choose it amongst other artists but is the one I like most from that selection you posted.
Would be good to see his progress work that takes the tree into grid formation - I don't think it will be my cup of tea either but you never know

Re: Through One's Eyes
I have found an article that writes about it @Zoe7 ..... and ironically, they have referenced the same images that I have ...... I guess the artwork is speaking for itself .... 😏

Re: Through One's Eyes
You can definitely see the progression of his work and style through a timeline of his work @Faith-and-Hope I definitely prefer his work that has curved or diagonal lines as well as the straighter ones. The green and gold tree would go nicely in my house

Re: Through One's Eyes
Not really a fan of any of those @Faith-and-Hope - maybe not my type of colours.
We all have our different tastes though which is good as there is so much variation in different types of art.
