So each year the SA Young Beef Breeders hold the Calf Classic. There are two classes, a "serious" class, where the calves are judged, and a "dress-up" class, which is a chance for everyone to let their hair down and have a laugh. I helped the the bosses 9 year-old nephew lead this poor little fellow in the Classic. The calf was dressed as a kid, the kid was dressed as a calf. There were some hilarious costumes, and the kid got to meet Andrew 'Cosi' Costello, who appeared to judge the class.

Hi @NikNik. A lovely salad is a very friendly thing indeed I think. 🙂
My week has seen me spending a lot of time in bed, during the day, at night, could have something to do with giving up pot, though tiredness is always with me. Aside from that, the week's been okay. Since my new AD med started about 6 weeks ago I'm not feeling the intensity of anxiety I was feeling. So that's a plus. Also, I've been keeping up my twice daily stretching exercises so I can get my legs back into walking order again. Tomorrow my partner is going away for two weeks. I'm a bit apprehensive about how things are going to be with me isolated here alone for that time. But I'm sure it will pass fairly quickly.

Thanks @NikNik, really appreciate your words of encouragement. I recognise that giving up pot is a major achievment even if in the short term it's sending me to bed to be without it. And the stretches have come to be something I enjoy. Just as well because I may need to do them forever now that I have this problem with my legs. Also been on the exercise bike and building up the minutes I can do that as well. So it's been a funny mix of sleep and exercise activity at my place.
Yes, the SANE forums are the main place I come on the net these days. You might see even more of me over the next couple of weeks.

This was my steer Jackpot, Jacks for short. He could be an absolute sh*t at times, but he could also be an absolute sweetheart, as the pictures show. Sadly, he went on the trailer early this morning for his final trip. It was very sad to leave him yesterday, but I know that I gave him lots of love, and he had better care and lived longer than a lot of steers.
