Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, @Jacques. Something came up that I had to attend to straight away. Thanks for the congrats on the festival. It is a film festival, but an easy mixup as I'm involved in both music and video. I gave up the green two months ago and have been happily free of it since then. Down to an average 6 smokes of tobacco a day now. When looking after your friends, @Jacques, please look after yourself above all. There has to be a balance with these things. I'm sure you already know this and understand how hard it can be to draw the boundaries with friends at times. But your friends here want you to be as well as possible.
Namaste, @Former-Member.

Well done on the festival @Mazarita - don't know the details as haven't had the energy to keep up with the threads....
Hi @Former-Member - have missed you - are you coping any better? Is it school holidays again soon?! Yay, for a long weekend... Is it a long weekend all over Australia? That Charlie Brown movie is so painful - oh dear, if I ever have a kid I guess I will have to watch some painful shows, haha... I hope your kids (& even you!) enjoy it....

Yes @Former-Member, it has been full on for me, supporting two friends 2 suicide attempts between them, it is exhausting keeping them safe. mum is going really well, she still has her rash, but it is slowly going, she is seeing a skin specialist next week.
It is so good to speak again, i have really missed my friends here. i am sorry for not keeping up, i have just been too exhausted to.

oh my goodness @Former-Member you have got a lot coming up this week! Fingers crossed the part comes so that at least you have running water! Also do you have a microwave inside? maybe do lots of cooking that way in the cabin? sounds really difficult! I will have my fingers crossed that the surgery goes really well for your partner on Wednesday, how long will he be in hospital for? I think you will manage better than you think because you are a very strong and courageous woman.
@Jacques I'm sorry that your friends got to those stages of their pain. I hope that they are in safer places now. Some of us on the Night Shift are doing a challenge to do 3 self care things to pamper ourselves over the weekend! you should join us 😄
My week was really difficult. A child's father from my class commit suicide and another child self harmed seriously at school and spoke of wanting to take their own life.. at the age of 9. its been really difficult to deal with for me personally... which feels really selfish to say. but we had a nice day today and relatively calm for everyone.
