oh @Crazy_Bug_Lady that is terrible that you feel so intimidated, and you have lost friends over your job, that is not fair, it is your livelyhood, you previous friends should be ashamed of themselves.
i am sure you do a wonderful job, whatever it is, and all medical research should be highly reguarded, you are helping save lives, and make peopel more comfortable. you should take comfort in the fact you save lives.
i for one don't care what you do, you will always be my friend
