Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Byyyyyeeeee @Crazy_Bug_Lady! Nice to see you.

Hey @Appleblossom Welcome to the Friday Feast. So glad you could make it. I'll include some instructions about how to post a picture soon.

What's your favourite dish to cook?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@Jacques you got soy milk? Can I have half a sugar please, not too hot. Smiley Wink

@Jacques

Its a huge struggle to have to deal with basics of getting a decent place to call home and some secure income.Smiley Sad

Sometimes when media is done on poor people it feels like insult piled on top of injury.

I find it really difficult to admit when I am in bad situation and to ask for support.

Keep safe

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Thankyou @Appleblossom

i am very lucky to have a mother who supports me and she ownes her own home, i have cost her alot of money i have maxed out all her credit cards because i am unable to function.

Yes i feel under attack all the time by society, for not being "normal"

@CherryBomb

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

ditto what @CherryBomb said @Jacques

I'm just glad you are here. This is the most social my week gets, its nice to feel connected to others!

I just had a look at the news (abc online) gosh its all bad!! I need to have a news filter so that its just good news that I read about! gosh the world seems a dark place in the news some days! but there is great stuff in the world to, i see it in my kidlets, there's still hope and light and fun, we just have to find the strength to keep looking and hoping for it and reaching towards it. hugs if ok,

LJ

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi Cherrybomb
Thanks for the invite. I didn't prepare anything as I was late home from work but I will try to organise myself for next week.

@Jacques. I can feel your pain and suffering and I am so sorry. Please remember that we are here for you when you want to talk and hopefully help you.

Stay strong

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Bye @Jacques! See you next week! I won't be here for a few weeks as I'm having sometime off - heading to NZ. Will definitely post some photos though.

@Former-Member the news is horrible! As a kid it actually use to give me nightmares. That, and crime stoppers. The news media relies on bad stories, as the old saying goes, 'if it bleeds, it leads'. Not the most bightest outlook of the world...

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi Cherrybomb
Have a great snowboarding holiday. Looking forward to the photos. (I'm really very jealous).

@Former-Member.. I totally agree with you regarding the news - all doom and gloom. I feel so depressed after watching, so I dont. Much prefer to get the main stories from the radio. If there is something I don't want to listen to on the news, I just turn it off or switch channels.

Who was making coffee? White with no sugar please.
