Back momentarily to do a quick catch-up @eth ..... I have been tossing up buying kangaroo meat in the supermarket. Wondering whether I will get it past the kids.

It's not too different from beef @Faith-and-Hope, very nice marinated. The best I ever had was a beautiful fillet with a pepper berry jus (fancy word for gravy I reckon, but proper gravy made from the meat cooking juices). Roo mince is a good way to start with it - bolognese or lasagne. As you can see I'm not sleeping well tonight. But it doesn't matter when you see this.

Thanks @eth .... and good morning.
I spoke with one of my daughters who was up last night, and she had tried roo at school ..... said it was very lean, so it needed “something” with it to keep it from being too dry and tough. so bolognaise would be perfect.
I hope sleep settled in for you. Think I managed about six hours.
