Thanks @CheerBear, it's been really lovely getting to know you. Us mods review all the posts behind the scenes to make sure they're safe, and I've enjoyed reading yours. You bring a really supportive warmth to forums, not to mention amazing cake! Pass me a slice please!
Haha @TheVorticon make sure you pour the custard on to mine.
@Former-Member watching the footy sounds like it could be kind of fun, although I must admit I never watch it. I simply don't understand the rules. Do you??
@Jacques I'm not suprised you're tired. You know, come to think of it, everytime I speak to you, I hear about how you've been busy helping others. You're so helpful, don't forget to take some time out for you.
This weekend I'm going to go rock climbing. It's getting pretty cold up here though, so need to find some sunny places. Looking forward to it though.

@CherryBomb Just wanted to pop in quickly and say goodbye and let you know you will be sadly missed. You will be irreplacable here - just hope that whoever takes your place is half as good as you as that will mean that they will be amazing I wish you all the luck in the world for what the future brings - I am sure whatever path you take you will achieve great things.
Thankyou for everything Cherry...and goodluck...

After reading about your topic am feeling a bit academic and would love to ask a few questions about your PhD

Sending loads of hugs.

@TheVorticon I'm growing really fond of your sense of humour and your presence around the forum. And I'm a huge custard fan so it's win win all around.
@CherryBomb I do know the rules only because they've been playing since 6 yrs old. Apparently though often I don't know the rules as told by them 😜 T
Growing up they've played baseball, tee ball, cricket, tennis, soccer, little athletics, swimming and basketball. I managed the rules of basketball well only because I grew up playing it. Playing sport was self preservation for me, it got them confined and out of the house, 4 boisterous boys in a house is not good for ones mental health 😳. Luckily they often played in the same teams as they were so close in age and physical size 😄.
