I would love to have a Golden retriever x poodle. Or a bullmastiff. But I know I would never have the time or energy or space for a dog.
I am allergic to cats (hayfever symptoms) but if/when I finally buy a house I will adopt two cats from the animal welfare league. I don't want kittens, I'd ike to adopt some cats that have been there the longest.

Hi @PeppiPatty...
I better go to sleep now - I want to wake up at 6:30 for an 8:15 hot yoga class... If I don't get there there is a class at 9:30, but not hot.
Sleep well all....
Thanks for the company - I'm glad I was able to be a bit more cheerful here this week even though it has been a bad day...
@Crazy_Bug_Lady sounds like a good plan - hope your pet dreams come true too!
Namaste,
A

Dogs are a lot of work - cats less so - they are more independent
I think it's a wonderful idea to adopt a couple of aging cats - but I think they would have to know each other - I am sure a little bit of computer-hunting would find a couple of older cats who were homeless because their owner/s could not provide for them for a number of compassionate reasons
But how would you go with your allergies? I have a cat - she is getting on in years and I love her - she is my companion and has a lot of personality
Your message sounds as if you really love animals

I so understand you @Crazy_Bug_Lady
I would want to take them all home too - but I don't think my resident cat would like that - trouble indeed
I get all sooky and clucky when the Animal Hospital where I go to get my cat's special prescription diet and they have kittens there - they are so cute - I am sure the staff have them there for their own enjoyment as well - because the kittens would either get adopted or grow into cats
I think you would make a great cat-owner - or as I call myself - cat-mother - and cats are very good companions
