You were very reassuring about nervousness and "spying" concerns with a new member who almost slipped away. 🙂
Likewise, nice to meet you too. 🙂 Will check out night shift, for sure. Thanks again, @Former-Member!
Night all!

Hi @Former-Member
I love docos - I watched the 9/11 one too - and it was kinda tense waiting for the towers to finally fall
Of course we all know what is going to happen - but hearing people running here and there - lost looks on their faces - telling each other whatever - what a terrible time - I remember watching that on TV myself that Wednesday morning - I had been asleep on the couch with sinuitis - had a fever and thought I was watching a sci-fi movie until I realised that there had been an attack on America
So I missed out on all the Friday chatting - never mind - there will be another Friday - I have not spoken to you before - so Hi!! - I hope to see you again

hello @Appleblossom
Ha Ha Ha yes, we have 12 foot ceilings and the smoke alarms were put in , we could not reach them
the alarms would go off just from cooking toast , so Hubby moved them lower ,
But I still can`t reach them , so when the alarm goes off the other night while cooking dinner
guess what the smoke alarms are on the table now and they still work --Ha ha
Helloo @Former-Member, Hubby went to buy takeaways and came back with a pizza , we are ok , just tired

@Shaz51 and @Former-Member
So true - there will always be housework but your boys (and girls) will all grow up so fast and have their own chores at the weekend
Enjoy the day - and if it means hiding from all the housework - hide from it
Time passes so fast and kids grow when you are not looking - there will always be the poor, housework and taxes - I even have to do the census this weekend
But kids - carpe diem -

Hi @Shaz51
Let hubby do his job and you enjoy your Saturday -
I had an LH - Lazy Husband - I used to get up early then - oh horrors - the same for the working week leaving home at 7.30am and at the weekend to get a good start on the day
That was the - this is different
Anyway - LH would get up around this time - just before lunch - and look outside - after a clear morning the sky would be building rain cloud - and he would say "Looks as if it's (rain) set in for the day"
I don't miss that - I had the best part of a packet of cashew Munchies for breakfast - time to make soup for lunch - so glad I am here alone - no one else either stirring me with plans or sitting around looking miserable and going outside to smoke in the carport looking hard done by
Life is too short to fill in other people's day for them - unless those plans are agreeable to us - of course
Stick to your guns @Shaz51
