@Crazy_Bug_Lady I feel a little guilty you have had a bad week and I had some good news. I'd love if you joined the hug. Things always do have a way to sort themselves out, hang in there, my thoughts are always with you.

@Crazy_Bug_Lady I think this is a really good question and something that many people would be thinking themselves or may have experienced. Becuase I think it is a valuable question and is one that may not be seen in this friday feast thread, I am going to move your post into a new thread so we can have an ongoing conversation with more input from other members on the forum.
Good on you for having the courage to ask the question, it takes alot of courage.

thank you Karen 🙂 that means heaps to me
I've had a very intensive week of monday/tuesday induction training, then 3 days of orientation work (I rather the term buddy work) where I have been teamed with another worker.
I'm very tired but so excited at the same time. Like I said I feel like I have found home.
I'm bummed I lost my first post, It's only through the love and support that has been giving to me that I'm able to do this, and all of you that share and the forums have given me support

Thanks Matt
The mental health industry desperately needs people who can relate to what their clients are going through. You are a wonderful caring person and you are going to make a difference to people's lives, that is a gift and really special. I am so proud of you.
Karen
