Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@CherryBomb @TAB@Former-Member@Shaz51@Appleblossom@Jacques (sorry if i forgot anyone else on here at the moment)

my daughter came home from work and we went to grab Macca's for dinner.  I had a really nice chicken and salad burger with chips of course.

She wants me to watch a DVD of a girl band she likes but I am not interested.  guess i will watch it with her, maybe i will do some knitting.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

not having a decent sleep can really impact your mental health @Jacques and @Former-Member. In the past, I found that doing relaxation exercised (when I couldn't sleep) helped a little with feeling rested. Maybe something to try?

That sounds worrying @Jacques, about your aunt, I hope she is ok. Does she have a good doctor?

Hi @Bimby2 and @Appleblossom!

How's your night been so far @BlueBay?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

That`s lovely @BlueBay xx

your daughter wants to be with you

my step  daughter came over the other night and spent 4  hours here , it was really nice for a change

she went in a running competition -- 25 km run , sooo proud of her and I told her sooo , she gave me a big hug

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Thanks @Shaz51 - yes, I did get to yoga - it was actually physically easy (even 21 rep x 3 sets of yogi type squat exercises was fine), but mentally I didn't want to be there....

No @Jacques you didn't upset me - I guess I just emphasise with your Aunt not wanting to take meds & I know when you are in a complete psychotic break (which it seems like your Aunt might be) you don't realise it - I would also say - I wouldn't say it is HER that is losing all her family & friends - people are mostly ignorant & most are unwilling to even try to understand... I'm glad you & your mum are there for her, but of course you need to look after yourself - are your meds not helping you sleep even though they have been increased? I can see how someone who is shouting out to people would be very difficult for someone with social anxiety & agoraphobia....

Hi @Former-Member Smiley Happy

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

no, she has only recently moved to my town, i guess iwill just have to manage as best i can.

I am so sorry if i am upsetting you @Former-Member, i don't mean to and i am not judging you or anyone else with this terrible illness, i am just struggling dealing with my aunt because of my deteriorating mental health.

i have tried to limit contact so i ca nmanage, but it is difficult.

my aunt does not want help and feels she is not doing anything silly, so i will just have to deal with any fall out from it.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@CherryBomb

just had dinner, but really i just want to hide away and be alone.  Just time to cry and think. But my daughter wants me to watch this dvd that i am not interested in watching.  maybe i am just feeling really sorry for myself.

yuo know it makes me sad because i am close to my daughter and she is with me but i never got that with my mum.  in fact it was the opposite.

Sorry i am going on again, wrong post.  OMG so much triggering stuff at the moment in mhy head. need to go and watch tv. so sorry to wreck things again 😞

@Shaz51 it's so nice that you have a close relationship with your step daughter.  and for you to get a big hug from her. xx
