Re: The Community Garden :)

Pothos looks nice @LookingHopeful Hopefully your cutting will end up looking like that.

Carob Trees have Carob Pods - Which is used to make Carob, a bit like Cocoa (Chocolate).

Carob Pods are naturally Sweet (can eat them when soft apparently), with high Sugar content - Unlike Cocoa, which is very Bitter (without added sugar).

Carob Trees are Legumes (Pea family), so they pull Nitrogen out of the Air, & improve the soil.

Drought-hardy, from the Mediterranean area & Middle East.

It is hard to tell in the photo but my vines have roots on them! this brings me so much joy. They are just pothos cuttings but all three are now rooting, took a while !

Life has been quiet over here.. @Shaz51 @Adge @LookingHopeful @Adge @CheerBear

@Former-Member  suggested I share my vegie plantings ... spent $20 and received extra bonus cos a local ... about 50 seedlings ... planted bok choy broccoli spring onions, various lettuce and beets.

Great value with iceberg lettuce $8!
