I admire anyone who can grow their own vegies @Shaz51 @Appleblossom @Former-Member . In Melbourne maybe we could start tomato seed inside or in greenhouses now... seedling time is still a long way away. Too cold.
Some of the narcissus are out already, harbingers of Spring... and an early wattle...

I am no expert @Dimity maybe my vegies will not make it through. I put them in places where they get sun. Someone said my pumpkin would not work, but it sprouted beautifully so I keep trying ...

@Appleblossom I’m on a plant buying ban. I buy too many! I do like to repot, propagate and water though.

Ha ha @Bow
Know what thats like. Was on a ban for years, slowly doing vegies ... maybe as something for my son to see ...and eat ... but place is too small to do much.

Went to my local Market today. Was planning on picking up 2 plants. I'm starting to slowly plant out along the fence lines in my backyard. The aim being to block out the neighbours, block the fence, and provide habitat for birds and insects. Well today, I came home with 7 plants. Lol. It is so hard to only buy 2. Plants are like books. They are addictive.
I plan to plant them out tomorrow around late morning when my new puppy is asleep. Best to avoid her watching me dig holes.
I'm looking forward to seeing how all these shrubs come along by Autumn next year.
