Re: Tabalugas

'Wistful for my youth'.    Oooo,   I like that.  @ENKELI .     I'm a a bit scary to look , and autistic   so never spent too much time at the bar,   unless I had my guitar..   Funny how music turns the whole thing upside down.   They must just think the looks part of the act I guess.

Drank a lot on the street.   Still pop a cork now.  Get a bit shiny,  never drunk.   Guess our crutches are part of our act too..

You sound like you had a not to bad working life apart from the last nasty britches people.        tonys.

@ENKELI   @StuF   @TAB    My posts are taking 10 minuts to send so I may have to give up.  I wonder if it the Sane log jam or just bad NBN here. ?                                     tonys.

@tonys  I hope SANE doesn’t revoke my citizenship, but I think the lag is on their end because the same thing is happening to me and it’s the sort of thing that does my head in.

That and ugly fonts, and poorly designed pdf forms.

Re: Tabalugas

@tonys I spent 17 years working for Telstra. Despite the bad reputation they have working for them was the best. There was never an issue with bullying or discrimination.

I stopped drinking the last couple of years only because I didn't feel like it. I did my fair share of imbibing in alcamahol and devils lettuce but the last 5 years I'd worked at places where random drug and booze testing was done and I found I didn't miss it.

I don't believe you would have been the scary one at the pub, I've seen some pretty frightening people (Alan Bond, members of parliament...!)

My posts are taking their time in submitting too so it's probably the forum being busy
