Re: Tabaluga

@TAB 🙂  its a charming cottage weatherboard with a tin roof painted in federation colours because was made in 1915.  it has a garden full of roses of different colours with a few native plants scattered around the pond.  it faces the bushland with a cool breeze in the afternoon.

Re: Tabaluga

@greenpea very lovely home for you in the mountains.

Re: Tabaluga

Thats a good idea re towels I bought some that are designed to trap cold. They had a Prime sale last winter on Amazon.  There is a technology behind them so thought I'd prepare for summer @TAB Glad youre keeping cool @greenpea your little place sounds lovely just like you

Re: Tabaluga

Nice @greenpea

Re: Tabaluga

Just got out my towels and have wet one of them in cold water and wrapped around my neck @TAB the blinds are drawn. Just checked my blood sugar 2 hours post meal and it was ok after a high reading last night. Drank some herbal tea. Getting out my cooling mat. The cooling mat works for about an hour and after that it gains heat. Its like laying on an iceblock! I think I bought it from Catch of The Day years ago. You really need an extra one on standby once the first on stops working so you have a chilled one one ready to use

Sounds like a plan @SmilingGecko

Just watching tv here

Re: Tabaluga

Yes its good to have a cooling mat, you don't need to put in the freezer but you can of course for extra freeze factor lol. Its got a naturally cold substance in it. Don't know what its made of. Had it for several years now @TAB
