Hello @tonys how are you going? Have you recovered from covid? Three people on here I know have had it - you, @saturnzoon and @StuF. I'm worried about getting it with my diabetes. I just boost my immune. I don't seem to catch anything these days, who knows I just hope I am able to avoid it. But I'm sorry you guys have had it. My brother has tonsillitis atm so his immune system is playing up again he says
Bitter tastes in food suit certain doshas in ayurveda. I think the things we gravitate towards tend to be the things that pacify our doshas. I don't know enough about ayurvedic dietary requirements but it obviously suits your constitution @tonys. You could always look it up.
I have a stack of permaculture eggs, I ordered an extra box by mistake so will make a quiche in the oven and a separate loaf of bread in the breadmaker. That will be tomorrows task to use up eggs
Thats really good to hear about your success with bookkeepers and accountants. My friend was a bookkeeper and we both met at a charity doing volunteer work. I did their cash receipts/payments journals using kalamazoo before the advent of computers in business. Everything was done manually. I realise now with AI many accountants and bookeepers will lose their jobs due to automation. I wouldn't know what software accountants use these days. I haven't stayed in the loop. But a good accountant is the backbone of any business. My friend did bookkeeping for her friend who used to operate a B&B full of antiques. She was great with hospitality but needed a bookkeeper.

I think covid is scarred of you @Former-Member . I seen your food, health, and healing, approach to
life. Its both commendable, and an unassailable dreadnaught that trembles pathogens to their knees.
I watched a show about a place in Japan that holds records for health an lifespan and To a small extent
follow the ways of these wise ones. Reducing my alcohol to one or two a week has made a big difference to me as well. Don't want to be a person that takes no responsibility for my health, and then just whinges all the time..
Diabetes would keep you ever vigilant I guess SG. Its a tough gig, but I guess there are always new
remedies coming across your desk.
The smell of baking bread is going to drive your neighbours nuts. Got me distracted just thinking about it. My book keeper is "old school' too. She used to work back into the small hours to chase
down one dollar from some poor customer that trod across her microscope slide. She would have
done great working for the mob. I mean. . . Its my money, and I can't even get a pay rise out
of her. . . LoL..
You have an awesome , broad knowledge of so many things SG and the fire in you. I hope one day you open your shop front for trade. Think you would make a tremendous personal assistant
motivation trainer, Well . . . I think you could do anything. However . . . If you are happy..
then don't touch it..
Thinking of you SG.. tonys..
Hope you went fine at the docs @StuF .. Hi Everone

Oh @tonys you are a true gem, honestly. 😊🌹 And never fear, I can take tongue in cheek banter as well as any other. Bawdy humour too, which comes from working in shearing sheds half my life, working with predominantly men in my latter worklife and hanging around hubbys Navy mates since my mid 30's.
Yes its true, I have a very good eye for detail and am extremely ordered. Though I can be almost obsessive. People have made fun of me saying things like "oh she is off counting paper clips, or some such". Joking I think, but only half. Part of that is my OCD tendencies perhaps. But yes, I am a very good bookkeeper (through to lodging tax returns) if I do say so myself 😇
Hannah is on a natural raw food diet, which she was on when I adopted her. I also give her a daily raw chicken wing to crunch on. And yes, she gets some of my food too. She loves raw carrot and any vegetables you want to give her, most fruit especially berries, nuts (not macadamias as they are toxic to dogs), just about anything really.
Hey @TAB sorry to hear the course has been boring today.

Hopefully you can keep the COVID away @Former-Member . Wasn't too bad in my experience, but you don't want to have to find out how it goes for you

Dr was fine thanks @tonys
Bit over 20 years post transplant, still going strong 🙂
Be nice if I didn't have to see him any more (although he is awesome, so I don't mind) but every 6 months is fine...just a bit anxiety producing each time! lol
