Re: Tabaluga's

Hello @Meowmy @TAB just cooked up a diced lamb stew with vegies and a sprinkle of parsley. Stews are always easy to do just toss it all in! Looking into going raw vegan. Don't know if its possible but certainly healthier than meat going by some vegos. Got to get my iron quotient from somewhere though.

Re: Tabaluga's

yeah , look into food combinations maybe or suppliments @Former-Member um eg certain proteins are more readily absorbed   can do baked beans on toast w cheese , so 3 types proteins fill in the gaps in others, becoming more than the sum of their parts as it were

Re: Tabaluga's

Yes I have checked out baked beans @TAB but you wouldn't believe how much sugar is in the can. Its no good for me unfortunately with diabetes.  But I will look into proteins as you said. I don't do dairy so no cheese. Its one of the best decisions I made not having milk, cheese, cream or yoghurt. Have heard from separate sources that people recover rapidly from health problems like asthma by cutting them out of their diet same with gluten. Have read gluten can exacerbate mental issues. There was a bakery around the corner that used to put my head in a spin when I first tried their loaves. Look up studies on gluten and the link between mental health and gluten.

You mentioned you are an alcoholic. I am surprised I did not wind up on drugs or alcohol given my early home environment.  It creates adjustment problems in later life for abused kids. My astrologer looked at my 4th house (family) and said: "the cluster of planets indicated lots of bows and arrows at home" which was an understatement! Parents threatened us with a cane not to take drugs/alcohol though even though the conditions had been set.  She asked if I was an addict as I had neptune in the 6th house of health.  Turned to spirituality (neptune) instead, the pain had been unbearable and it flipped on a switch TAB.  I have found some of the most addictive people have been the most spiritual TBH.  They usually wind up at the feet of some guru. You only have to look into the work of Russell Brand he was a member of 12 Step AA programmes and now his life is so much better. I have so much respect for Russell and hold him in high esteem. Have you thought of AA?

Re: Tabaluga's
