Here is Coonara Community House. I used to live out in the outer eastern suburbs and this community centre was really cool. I spoke to the manager once and they still try to adhere to community development principles. They have pathways to employment and foster community values and empowerment. Its in a beautiful brick building.
It in the other side of town for me now but I did an e-mail course with them when computers just had dial up. You can google community centres or neighborhood houses @TAB they are Australia wide.
I used to do acapella singing at a neighborhood house that was a former nunnery and it was re-made with a glass atrium for a cafe and concerts. They also had picnics under the stars in their vast gardens and a community radio housed at the community center. It was so beautiful! People used to get married in the gardens.
Anyway here's a picture of Coonara: <image>
We have some recently built neighbohood houses in our district with modern outfittings as I said.

@TAB hey tabby, hope you're okay. Really hard this morning. Memories of abuse from parents so intense. Hope can last the day and can talk in the evening again. Take care

Hello @Former-Member having a slow start to the day just analysing astrology transits for the week ahead and attending an astrology summit. Hope to clean the kitchen and go for a walk. Hope you have a good start to the day. I always find Mondays delicate as Monday is governed by the moon.
