He eats other stuff at home, and plenty of snacks he takes for recess I think it’s because school is so unsettling for him that having the same lunch is the stability and prediction @tyme when everything makes you nervous or anxious you know you have something you want to eat at lunch
I can kinda understand that
Ah, that makes so much sense @ArraDreaming . It's like his lunch is his only 'constant'. I'm sorry he's still struggling. I know you mentioned he has supports in place like working in the garden, but I can see how stressed he must feel at school.

Re: Share a cuppa?
Oh noooo @ArraDreaming . What a shame!
I wonder if they have enough documentation to submit it for what they need. I'm sorry you have been caught in the limbo.
Does your son connect with anyone else at the school? It's like as soon as he reached out to connect with someone, the person left. I know for adults, that may act as evidence why we shouldn't connect with people in the first place.
It must be hard on both you and him.
Hugs to the poor fella.

I don’t get scared of storms but I’m a little bit nervous it’s pretty gnarly out there….
What if a tree hits our house? @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?
They told us while we were walking him in on the first day and he asked about where Mr x was and they said he has gone to a different school
😳😳😳😳
Well, that was not a great start @tyme
I don’t think they have enough evidence

Re: Share a cuppa?
On my side, we had a few (literally a few) drops of ant rain @ArraDreaming . And there's a bit of lightning, but not as bad as your side it sounds.
Do you have may trees directly around your house?
As for your son, I'm sorry it happened that way. Once again, we don't know the circumstance to this teacher leaving, but I can see it affected your son. As for the comment about looking at the support as opposed to the person, that doesn't make sense to me. We are social creatures and unless we connect with people, it doesn't matter if you have the same support as the queen/king, it's not going to make a difference to the person (let alone a kid). Unless I'm not getting this right.

Re: Share a cuppa?
I said to Mrs j that maybe we should sleep out with the kids tonight but it’s too hard to move another mattress
You know what it feels like??
it’s going to be one of those scenarios where you don’t sleep in a room and tree falls on the room and you think wow… I’m so glad I changed my mind at last minute @tyme
