Re: Share a cuppa?
Yes thanks @hanami
I am doing quite well lately which is good news. Hubby had a spot of happy news yesterday! He finally got an appointment with a specialist about his knee replacement. That will be on the 27th so after that we will hopefully have a better idea of how much longer he needs to wait.
Having another Pepsi Max!
None of the shops have Pepsi Max on special this week and I refuse to pay full price for it. Might have to make do with something else.

Re: Share a cuppa?
@Oaktree Pepsi Max sounds like a nice treat. I'm trying out mineral water with pomegranate arials thrown in with squeeze of lime juice. I can't drink soft drinks due to diabetes 😞 Sparkling mineral water costs nothing. So will give it a burl next shop. Am about to go for a walk soon. Hope you've had a nice day. Are you still walking Meggle? Was it you who was saying they were exercising as part of their fitness goals?

Re: Share a cuppa?
Hi @Former-Member
I am afraid that I have fallen off the fitness wagon for now. Need to climb back up though.
Good on you drinking mineral water. I don’t like fizzy water but I do like my cola cool drink so I drink the ones without sugar. I was trying to drink more water but have gone backwards with that too.
Need to try harder!

Re: Share a cuppa?
Ah well it happens @Oaktree. There are days when I don't walk day and night but I feel kind of motivated still which is a good thing! My diabetes educator holds me to account. Maybe get someone you know to motivate you? I know The Heart Foundation has a monthly challenge which you can sign up to on Facebook. I did their challenge last year.
Water is essential. I think for the most part people are like "camels" and the body gets dehydrated easily which affects the liver from doing its job properly. Just try and drink more water Meggle. I was surprised at how something simple like hydration can contribute to your overall health and wellness. Its what I've been told by health professionals

Re: Share a cuppa?
Hi @Oaktree
I find having one of those water bottles that keeps water cool for a few hours are good. I bought one at KMart for about $12. Then I have a water jug in the fridge with cold water and re-fill when needed.
I the water bottle near me at most times so it’s convenient. 😀
