This is my first time posting on this forum, so here I go !

I have schizoaffective affective disorder but am high functioning and work full time and have completed a uni degre my family also  live 3 hours away. I'm 30 in December and a male.

I'm looking for other like minded individuals with similar complex mental health diagnosis that even though they have ongoing challenges continue to persist in the face of adversity. I really want a space where I can be authentically myself and not have to hide who I am - which I often have to hide my diagnosis in many settings as unfortunately alot of people still don't understand the complexities or sensitivities around complex mental health issues.

I don't personally have a diagnosis of schizoaffective affective disorder, but I've sure had my fair share of mental health challenges!

It's been a long term and ongoing recovery journey for me, and I'm so grateful I've had these forums to support me through.

I hope you find that connecting with others here will support you in your recovery so that you feel less alone.

Going pretty good thanks, had a better night's sleep. Looking forward to having a bit of a break in the second half of the school holidays.
